Four Patch Spin quilt + Gingham Farmhouse Fabrics

Four Patch Spin quilt made by Andy of A Bright Corner using Gingham Farmhouse fabrics

Today I get to share with you a quilt I finished up last week before leaving for Quilt Market in Houston.  As a side note, I can't believe Halloween is just a couple of days away.  I still have some work to do on my son's costume-- yikes!

The fabrics I used for this quilt are from a new line from Poppie Cotton called Gingham Farmhouse.  This line is filled with tiny ginghams, pretty florals, little houses, and sweet bunnies.  Aren't those gingham bunnies adorable?  You can see the entire Gingham Farmhouse line here.

The pattern I used is called Four Patch Spin and at some point I may have a PDF downloadable version of the pattern available.
Edited to add: It's now available! See this article for the details.

It's fat quarter friendly (my favorite) and measures 40" x 56" which could work well for a crib quilt, or a lap size quilt.

I wanted to soften all of the straight lines in this quilt a little so I chose a loopy quilting design called Knit 1 Purl 2.  It's a computerized edge-to-edge design and it's one of my favorites - I've used it several times before.  On a related note, you can see my favorite edge-to-edge quilting designs here in this Pinterest board.

The backing is a Moda Bella Solid called Butter (9900-28) and it goes so well with the soft yellows in the Gingham Farmhouse line.
