New Fall Quilt in American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine

I'm so excited to be able to share this quilt with you today! I have a new quilt and pattern in an upcoming issue of American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine.

It's called Fall's Finery and it's one of my all-time favorite quilts that I've made. Which says a lot!

I'm so happy with the way it turned out, and I love everything about this quilt - the sawtooth star blocks, the scrappiness, the scallop border, the colors....everything!

EDITED TO ADD: This pattern is now available in my shop under the new name, "Romance". It includes five size options and can be made with either fat quarters, yardage (1/3 yard cuts) - or scraps like this original version!

You can find my quilt pattern along with a whole bunch of other great projects in this issue (Issue 172 October 2021).

I've had a lot of questions about the fabrics used in this quilt! To be honest most of them came from my own stash. There are a mix of prints, mostly Moda. Many of them are prints from lines by Lella Boutique and Corey Yoder, with one or two from Sherri & Chelsi, and Fig Tree.

The gray gingham print is from a line by Lori Holt (Riley Blake Designs) called Prim and the print is called "Pebble Gingham". It is becoming hard to find, but there is still some on Etsy!

  2. Andy, I was just wondering if your pattern come out yet. I love this pattern and would love to purchase it to get the other sizes. I made this quilt in pinks and white and grays and I get so many compliments on it. People love the scalloped edges.
